UAB Cardiothoracic Surgical Services is divided into three programs, Adult Cardiac, which treats heart-related conditions; Adult Thoracic, which treats conditions in the thoracic, or chest area—including the lungs, chest walls and esophagus; and the Pediatric/Neonatal Cardiothoracic Department.
Adult Cardiac Surgery Program

Pediatric/Neonatal Cardiothoracic Surgery Program
UAB is one of the few elite centers in the country with the ability and expertise to perform complex heart repairs and procedures on neonates, infants and children.
