UAB offers many Heart and Vascular support groups and classes that fit your schedule.
Birmingham Pulmonary Hypertension Support Group
The Birmingham Pulmonary Hypertension Support Group is open to patients and their families, regardless of where they're being treated. The next meeting is Nov. 17.
Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Support Group
The ventricular assist device (VAD) support group was started for patients with VADs and their care givers. The group is patient facilitated and meets quarterly.
UAB Heart, Lung and Liver Transplant Support Group
The UAB Heart, Lung and Liver Transplant Support Group helps pre/post transplant patients through the transplant journey by networking with people who have been through the process. Meets the second Monday of each month.
