General Clinic Information
We are located on the 4th floor of The Kirklin Clinic. Our office hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Please call (205) 801-8850 or toll free 800-333-6543 with any questions.

Appointments
To schedule an appointment an order must be faxed to (205) 801-8107. Once we receive the order we will schedule the appointment. In the event that that you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please call (205) 801-8850 or 1-800-333-6543. If possible, we appreciate your cancellation at least 24 hours in advance.

After Hours and Emergencies
If you need to reach your physician after hours, please call UAB Paging at (205) 934-3411 and ask for the Cardiologist on call. If this is a true medical emergency, please dial 911 for immediate assistance.

What to Bring with You
When you come to your appointment, please bring your insurance card, a list of all prescription medication and over the counter medications you are currently taking.

Special Instructions
Please see instructions you are given at the time you were scheduled. If you were not given instructions please call us as soon as possible at (205) 801-8850. Some of our test require no food or drink prior to the test.

Payment Information
Some insurance providers may require a pre-certification before seeing a specialist of this nature. Please be sure to bring a copy of this referral or pre-certification with your for insurance/billing purposes. If you are unsure of what your insurance company requires, please contact them in advance of your appointment and they will be happy to answer any of your questions. If you feel their will be issues paying for the procedure please call the financial counselors. They are available Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at (205) 801-9910.

Test Results
Your test results for most tests should be completed within 24 hours. Please contact the physician who referred you for the test for results.
